Biography
Ms. Magdalena Pertoldova is a licensed Physical Therapist with over twenty years of experience in the physiotherapy field with a focus on orthopedic and oncology rehabilitation as well as management of lymphedema. Magdalena has worked with patients of various ages and backgrounds in both inpatient and outpatient care settings. Her practice philosophy is to empower her clients to reach their goals. She runs her own private practice, Prague Physical Therapy, in Prague, Czech Republic.
She has gathered experience in the United Kingdom and the USA practicing in various hospital and outpatient care settings. She holds both Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic.
During her years of clinical practice, she has enjoyed treating orthopedics and sports injuries for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Over the past 10 years, she has focused on treating cancer patients undergoing oncology treatment as well as clients with lymphedema. Magdalena is a board certified lymphedema therapist as recognized by LANA (Lymphology Association of North America).
Throughout her practice Magdalena has furthered her clinical skills and education by attending courses with specific focus on mechanical therapy, mobilization with movement and muscle energy techniques. She believes that many musculoskeletal pain issues can be resolved through postural correction, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education.
